The supporting characters, who seem to be reappearing protagonists or villains have their own charm, wit, and intriguing side-stories many of them romance related. The run in the park at the start with Heather’s fear of losing important body parts had me snorting in a very embarrassing way on my train ride home. The title suggests that Heather Wells might be giving the music industry another try; but there should be a lot more to the story than that, as the Heather we all know and love cannot help but get involved in murders.

This is the third book in the excellent Heather Wells series by Meg Cabot.
Determined to stay out of the investigation this time, unwilling to face the same fate, she nevertheless gets dragged into it when view spoiler [her assistant’s crush is arrested and she begs Heather to help prove his innocence hide spoiler ].
Revenge of the Spellmans. I also liked how Cabot tied in previous characters with new ones this book, so while the storyline does not become stale, we still get the continuity of the other two works.
This time, however, Heather vows not to do any investigating on her own mostly because Cooper made her promise not to. So all in allan easy good read You have to look past the idea that NY detectives are so stupid they couldn’t find their butts with tw I like Meg Cabot books but some of her novels definitely go in the ‘beach reads’ pile. By having Cooper finally admit his feelings and then talking about elopement and then sleeping with her and it all happened in about two paragraphs?
I came across it searching for Heather Wells and yes, I noticed that it was an import, but it’s been long enough since I read Big Boned that I didn’t recognize the summary.
I wonder who’s going to die this time. Plus, Tad tells her that he has a very important question to ask her, xabot the timing is right.

I was so excited to finally read this book! This time it is her new boss, Owen and with a bullet to the head, at close range. Weirdly I remembered almost nothing about the actual plot of the book so it was fun feeling like I was reading it again for the first time.
