The overview hints that Chansey is “something different” than human. Just her scent is enough to excite him, and it’s not the scent of her blood.

The rest of the bloof, however, has no such excuse. The characters are flat, there is very little “vampire” in the book, and overall it felt as though the author rushed to get it published. Returning to his roots, he soon comes face to face with Chansey Leclaire, a woman who stirs his senses and makes him nateros everything he’s ever known.

Some of the dialogue was a bit choppy, however it didn’t detract from the plot or the ideas that the author was trying to convey.

Amazing coincidence or not, I have no way of knowing, but it is certainly interesting to note that reviewers of another of this author’s books, Going Undersaid it was “just like” a novel ateros Perfect Chemistry by Simone Elkeles. This book is absolutely gripping and I would highly recommend it to all fans of paranormal romance.

Solomon tries to live a respectable life and introduces Curry to Sebastian, and both vampires help Curry several times throughout the story. There is a real build up throughout the novel and the story unfolds slowly and carefully, keeping you interested throughout the whole novel.

The paranormal elements are quite subtle and this made the whole plot seem more realistic, something that is quite hard to do when you’re talking about the supernatural in this day and age.

So this is a warning to those who hate it. Once the second book is out, I would then recommend reading them back to back.

Curry Brennan was turned against his will by a sadistic woman who wanted nothing more than to own him. The leech inside me came out to find prey, but found none in this enigmatic girl. LOVE the cover of this! Destined Book 4 in the Vampire Journals. I loved the dialogue and went a little crazy highlighting sections on my Kindle Fire because I thought the words were so beautiful.

The epic romance between an all-American beauty and her Aussie continues in this final installment of The Beauty Series. The lead character Curry is a thief because he will steal your heart. Chansey was born on the same day of the solar eclipse, and though she has her human parents’ DNA she also has the blood of the god Anteros running through her veins.

The close proximity of her essence didn’t entice the monster within, so what did that make her? Book One of the Red Ridge Pack. Again Georgia writes in a lovely way, and creates an interesting story.


This is a great book and if you enjoy vampires stories and paranormal romance, this is book you should check out. I’m not sure why this sat on my virtual shelf for so long.
