Locators are helpful for tying together solves that annoyingly output multiple cameras. In boujou i have about 5 camera solves on one clip. They place manual guided tracks that help tell the software how the camera moves through the shot. The reading tutorials are not going to cut it, not the best way I learn. I set my tracks to the highest possible quality settings – took an hours.

If there are moving objects in your scene you’ll need to yutorial a polygon mask around the moving objects so as not to track them. If you have to do it all in C4D, then you’ll need a greyscale mask of the sky cutout from your original chroma key. You wont need a background object for that. Dont use any scene geometrys.

I am trying to track my footage in Boujou and create a mesh, to bring that into Cinema 4D and start animating my model on top of that mesh. You could try upping the sensitivity and search radius. If you go down to lineyou can specify the file path to your boujou export file e.

It a slow, p shot but its very shaky and there is a fair bit of motion blur. If there is distortion on your footage then this will make the largest difference for you. Why do i get so many – in every tutorial ive ever seen, they have one running the legnth of the clip so why do i get so many?
