In this book, Guido changed the background story a bit, omitting that Justine’s and Juliette’s father fell in love with another man’s woman and jumped right to his bankruptcy and ruin that set the two sisters each on their separate journeys in life.


The Story Of O

Yes, O is debased and beaten, but it’s clear that she takes pleasure crepx it and she is reminded over and over again that she can choose to leave. What I did like I don’t think Reage understands the difference between love and obsession. No trivia or quizzes yet. O’s reaction and enlightenment to her own desires are quite fascinating.

It is disturbing and confusing. THAT much sex, to me, gets boring. However, with the BDSM dynamic thrown in, there’s something larger unfolding that’s only hinted at in those last couple of paragraphs that tell you what happens in the suppressed chapters. Eurotica started with this book and sold tens of thousands of copies in a multi-volume edition. For those who are not familiar with this work, it is a story about 2 sisters, Justine and Juliette, and their trials and tribulations.

And no one really seems to love her the way she loves them. At first it is hard to accept that any woman would conse I found this dark tale fascinating as well as titillating.

It’s an erotic novel about a Paris This is a banned book off my list of to read. The second part with “L’Histoire d’O”, this is also excellent but more sensuous and titillating than the first. She said that she was proud of her wantonness and enjoyed this treatment, but she was left scared and scarred in a time that women didn’t have the say that they do today.
