I love that we see Lars feeling more open and free, ev Re-read January As with Amara’s other Hanukkah stories, there’s nothing terribly heavy or significant here. Only the ending was a bit abrupt.
View all 4 comments. We meet Lar’s family and get to understand him much better. Not a bad formula, but not a great one either. Finding out that once more Ethan was the perfect son he wasn’t, coming out to his parents, doesn’t help.

Astris now it’s hholiday me spewing cheesy nonsense. Reading is my fulfillment. Seth is involved with his closeted boss, Lars. And it all worked for me.

But the true drama of the story takes place because Lars’s parents have come to visit for 5 days at Christmas. I did some xmara, in fact, about the religion of the protagonists, and I also found out why the climax that I was waiting for did not arrive: Dec 21, Deeze rated it really liked it Shelves: It was also nice to see the pair working as attorneys as it gave a different perspective on their relationship.
Lists with This Book. I really liked this. Due to some trick of fate, Ethan is staying with Jonah’s parents over the holidays, sharing a room with Jonah. Eccentric and demanding, the seven of them expect the full kosher experience that they have paid for, complete with the lighting of the Hanukkah candles at sunset. Seth is tired of being the dirty secret for his lawyer boss and gives Lars an ultimatum. I really enjoyed this book.
View all 4 comments. So this was a joyful present this December. I have to say this book surprised me, I didn’t really know what to expect. And even the resolution between George and Lola, the divorcing couple was a welcome joy, with the case proceedings being a great subplot that added much merit to the main plot and helped drive the story along perfectly. Seth’s family is a hoot and I loved seeing Lars and Seth as an out and proud and committed couple!
I also hope my religious tradition will evolve, taking into account the new victories regarding civil rights. During the holidays, Seth’s parents expect Seth and Lars for dinner every night of Hanukkah.

There are a couple of scenes where they have quiet sex because Lars’ parents are in the next room. This story introduces us to Lars and Seth, one year into their relationship on the down low.
This story is also set at Hannukah and even though Seth and Lars are pretty happy together, now they have to deal with their respective families – complete with a model train hlliday father Seth and the cold and aloof Vargas. If the first in this series, Holiday Outingwas a little weak, and Outnig of the Bellskis was a delightful treat, this third book in the burgeoning series is an accomplished, well-done sequel.
Even the astrif with the divorce case wasn’t enough to really spoil things to much for me and I would happily recommend Miracle of the Bellskis.
